Responsible Gambling
ProConBets is committed to promoting responsible gambling practices.
Our Commitment
At ProConBets, we believe sports betting should be entertaining, educational, and always within your control. Our platform exists to help you make informed decisions — not to encourage reckless betting. We are committed to promoting responsible gambling and providing resources to help you stay in control.
Know the Warning Signs
Problem gambling can affect anyone. If you recognize any of these signs in yourself or someone you know, it may be time to seek help:
- Betting more money than you can afford to lose
- Chasing losses by increasing bet sizes to recover previous losses
- Borrowing money or selling possessions to fund betting
- Neglecting work, school, or family obligations due to gambling
- Feeling restless, irritable, or anxious when trying to stop or reduce betting
- Lying to family or friends about how much time or money you spend gambling
- Using gambling as a way to escape problems or relieve feelings of stress, anxiety, or depression
- Needing to bet with increasing amounts of money to achieve the same excitement
- Making repeated unsuccessful efforts to control, cut back, or stop gambling
If any of these apply to you, please reach out for help using the resources below.
Set Your Limits
Responsible gambling starts with setting boundaries before you place a bet:
Bankroll Management: Decide how much money you can afford to lose BEFORE you start betting. This is your bankroll. Never bet money you need for rent, bills, food, or other essentials.
Time Limits: Set a time limit for how long you will spend on betting activities each day or week. When your time is up, stop — regardless of whether you are winning or losing.
Loss Limits: Decide the maximum amount you are willing to lose in a single day, week, or month. When you hit that limit, walk away.
Never Chase Losses: Losing is a normal part of sports betting. Increasing your bets to try to recover losses almost always leads to bigger losses.
Take Breaks: Step away regularly. If betting stops feeling fun, that is a signal to stop.
Self-Exclusion
If you feel you need to take a break from gambling, most licensed sportsbooks offer self-exclusion programs that allow you to voluntarily ban yourself from their platform for a set period of time.
Contact your sportsbook directly to learn about their self-exclusion options:
